DryDev envisions a future where households in the targeted drylands areas have transitioned from subsistence farming and emergency aid to sustainable rural development.
The programme is working to realize this vision in two ways. The first is through the provision of direct development support to farmers through interventions such as farm-level water and soil management; watershed restoration; agricultural commodity production; and value chain and institutional development. The second is by influencing wider policy, practice, and investment decisions.
